Suggested Golf Itinerary – Golfing Highlights
Arrive in Auckland where you will be greeted at the airport. Collect your rental vehicle and make your way to your accommodation for the next two nights. While in Auckland enjoy a day of golfing at Formosa Country Club. On Day 3, drive north to the Bay of Islands, an idyllic section of irregular rock and golden sanded coastline circling a sea that encompasses 150 islands. One of the first areas of New Zealand to be settled, the Bay of Islands offers numerous historical attractions and plenty of opportunity for rest and relaxation with cruises around the islands and swimming with dolphins just two of the leisure activities to choose from. Spend two days in the Bay, including a day of golf a Kauri Cliffs, a course that overlooks the Pacific Ocean with several holes played alongside plunging seaside cliffs.
Fly south to the lakeside resort of Queenstown on Day 6 for a four night stay. Enjoy a day of golf at Millbrook Resort, where the 18 hole course is set against the backdrop of the Remarkables mountain range. On Day 8 there is time for more golf, or explore further a field with a Scenic Flight to the spectacular Milford Sound. A free day gives you time to spend at leisure in Queenstown before you depart on Day 10.

Suggested Golf Itinerary – New Zealand Golf Experience
Arrive in Auckland where you will be met at the airport and transferred to your accommodation. Spend the night in the 'City of Sails' before collecting your rental vehicle the following morning and setting off on the drive south to Rotorua for a two night stay. Explore this thermal region on your free day in Rotorua, perhaps try your hand at the excellent fishing or learn a little more about the native Maori culture.
Continue on to Napier, a city rebuilt in the Art Deco style following an earthquake in the 1930’s. Napier lies at the heart of the beautiful Hawkes Bay, a successful wine growing & farming region that is home to the 18 hole Cape Kidnappers Golf Course, where you can enjoy a round on Day 5.
Leave Napier and travel south via the wine growing region of the Wairarapa to Wellington – New Zealand’s capital city. Spend two nights here with a day at the Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club, twelve times the host to the NZ Open Championship. On Day 8, take the ferry across Cook Strait and drive down the east coast of the South Island to Christchurch. A two night stay gives you a day to enjoy a game at the Clearwater Resort Golf Course, before driving inland to Terrace Downs Resort at the foothills of the Southern Alps on Day 10. Enjoy a taste of the Canterbury High Country and take the opportunity to play a round of golf on Terrace Downs scenic championship course. Enjoy one of New Zealand’s most beautiful drives on Day 12 as you make your way through the wild alpine landscape of the central South Island to Queenstown. Spend 3 nights in Queenstown, taking in the many activities on offer in the ‘Adventure Capital’, and a game at the Millbrook Resort Golf Course. Depart Queenstown on Day 15.
