About
About New Zealand
New Zealand is distinctive for its stunning, untouched and incredibly varied scenery, encompassing everything from rainforests, golden sand beaches and rolling farmlands to steaming volcanic craters, moody fiords and glaciers.
As well as providing a beautiful background to some relaxing time out, this diverse landscape provides an equally wide range of experiences. Spend a day visiting award winning wineries before kayaking into a National Park or racing through narrow canyons in a jet boat. Take a walk on a steaming volcanic island in the morning and spend your afternoon relaxing on a luxury cruise, trying your hand at trout fishing, jet skiing or simply sunbath!
And if you're wanting to go beyond the beautiful scenery, there are plenty of opportunities to take in some Kiwi culture. Restaurants throughout the country offer you the best of fresh New Zealand produce, or perhaps you might like to try a traditional Maori hangi? Visit a farm show for an entertaining insight into New Zealand's strong agricultural background or take a guided shopping tour that focuses on purely Kiwi fashion, art and craft. View master carvers at work, learn to weave yourself and take a tour around the comprehensive national museum to learn more about New Zealand's relatively short, but rich, history.
However you choose to spend your holiday, with a population of just over 4 million people, New Zealand offers you the space to enjoy your experience away from the crowds.
